10th Annual – All Kids Fair

10th Annual All Kids Fair

10TH ANNUAL ALL KIDS FAIR FEATURES MANY NEW CLASSES

The 10th annual All Kids Fair will be its best year yet, with many new classes for attendees to enjoy.

This year’s All Kids Fair will take place on Sunday, November 8 from 10-4:30 at the Hilton Long Island/Huntington.  Every year, this fabulous children’s expo has many draws for Long Island families.  As it did last year, the event will take place in “25,000 square feet of fun,” according to Barbara Kaplan, the director of the expo.  The huge children’s event takes place in the entire hotel event space:  the Grand Ballroom and Gateway (pre-function) areas, many classrooms, and the main level of the Savoy Room.

Every year, the All Kids Fair has over 80 vendors plus many kid-centered classes such as music, cooking, art, dance, soccer, yoga, book readings, and gifted programs.  This year, the All Kids Fair will feature Virtual Reality, Fitness and Boxing, and Muay Thai Fitness.

Attendee Geraldine Garcia of Riverhead summed up her experience at last year’s event.  “It was our first time at the All Kids Fair and we all had a great time.  Lots of information and activities for the kids to enjoy.  They absolutely loved it. They went the next day to school and shared with everybody how much fun they had at the event.”

Additional activities and attractions this year include 2 bounce houses, a petting zoo, photo booth, face painting, balloon animals, cotton candy, popcorn, food samples, and an aqua training challenge.  All are included in the admission price of $7 per person, free for under age 2, with an “early bird” special of $5 per person through February 29, 2020.

Another new feature is the Long Island Authors Group room, with many children’s authors who are happy to autograph book purchases.

Exhibitor Gabby Heilman of Fun Rentals shared her enthusiasm for the annual event.  “Thank you for having us again! I spoke to a ton of people today and hopefully gained some new clients.”

Every year, this fun-filled event offers exciting educational and leisure activities to interest kids and their families. The Fair offers choices for toddlers through high school, including kids who have special needs or are gifted. There will be information about schools, camps, after school activities, birthday party ideas, and college planning.

A charity drive to benefit The Book Fairies, a 501c3 that provides books to those in need will return this year.  Last year’ drive collected 450 books and $360 to benefit Long Island children.

Sponsors for this year’s All Kids Fair to date are:  Long Island Parent Magazine, Your Local Kids Source, Goldfish Swim School, Clowns.com, Blank Slate Media, and South Bay’s Neighbor.
